At the beginning of May, Nottingham Forest Community Trust (NFCT) launched three videos with the title, It’s Tricky to Talk” to encourage people to speak out about how they are feeling, even though it can be “tricky.”
We are delighted that following the publication of Jonathan’s story in a matchday programme in April 2018, mental health and well-being is now a key focus for NFCT. The videos were created in conjunction with the University Nottingham Institute of Mental Health. Jonathan was an ardent fan of Forest but we could never have imagined that a tentative approach to the club a year ago could have contributed to the message about “speaking out for mental health” going out to such a wide audience in the local community.
