As we enter the second lockdown it is clear that these are truly challenging times and we cannot do things in the way we usually would have. Despite this, so many of our supporters have continued to think of Jonathan’s Voice in this time for which we are very grateful. We have strived to keep momentum as best we can to raise awareness about the importance of mental health, which now feels more critical than ever.
To bring us together we’d like to invite you to the first virtual Jonathan’s Voice coffee morning on the 30th January at 10.30 am GMT. This is intended to be an informal event so bring along your coffee or mug of tea and maybe even a biscuit(!) to chat about the work being done by Jonathan’s Voice and fund raising activities planned for the year.
We’ll also hear from our social media manager Beth on how we’re using online platforms to reach out as well as PhD student Susie who is receiving funding from Jonathan’s Voice to support important research into suicide at the world renowned University of Glasgow Suicidal Behaviour Research Lab.
As a group we also want to share how we have all managed to stay positive throughout lockdown so bring your thoughts along, and an illustrative object if you wish As well as sharing on screen there will be a chat function on the Zoom call to post ideas, thoughts and questions during the session. If you would like to attend the Zoom call on the 30th January please email val@jonathansvoice.org.uk and we will send you a link to the session. Look forward to seeing you there. Pets and children welcome!
