An experiential introduction to mindfulness at work

THURSDAY 18 MAY 2023 12.30 – 1.30 PM

Please join us for a joint event with IP Inclusive to mark Mental Health Awareness Week 2023. The Mental Health Awareness Week theme this year is “anxiety” and this webinar , led by mindfulness expert Dr Sally Rose, will introduce practices and concepts that can help us to get our own attention, focus, manage distractions and build mental stability. What better way to help yourself and others cope with the issues that make you feel anxious, whether at work or at home? It will also outline how mindfulness can help us to recognise difficulties when they arise and to meet them head on, which in turn can develop our stress tolerance and open up new possibilities for coping and adapting.

Dr Sally Rose is a psychotherapist and mindfulness teacher who leads the Staff Counselling and Psychological Support Service at the University of Leeds. Her interest and area of expertise is in using mindfulness skills and qualities as the foundation for skilful self-care of minds at work across the mental health continuum – optimising performance and mitigating stress-related risks.

If you would like to join us for the webinar, please send an email to mailto:val@jonathansvoice.org.uk
