Jonathan’s Voice and IP Inclusive webinar
Thursday 13 Nov 2025 12:30 – 13:30
Movember https://uk.movember.com/ is an annual event in November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, including mental health and suicide prevention. To mark this, Jonathan’s Voice and IP Inclusive https://ipinclusive.org.uk/ are holding a joint webinar with a focus on the IP profession.
Imposter syndrome is one of several ways to describe the negative thought patterns that can arise around work. These thoughts — often disproportionate to reality — can significantly affect mental wellbeing. By understanding the causes and learning practical ways to respond, we can reduce their impact and help prevent stress and burnout. In this webinar, Darren Smyth will explore the causes of imposter syndrome and share some practical strategies for managing it. Rich Wells will then reflect on his experience of wellbeing initiatives aimed at men within the IP profession — highlighting what’s worked well, what’s been more challenging, and what the future may hold for this important area of focus.
Who’s it for?
This event is open to all supporters of Jonathan’s Voice and UK-based IP professionals. It doesn’t matter what type of organisation you work in, what role you play in it or what your career level; everyone is welcome at IP Inclusive events.
